Tart Vandelay is an alternative pop music duo consisting of vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Katie Halligan and guitarist/producer Marty LoFaso. Originally from Rochester, NY and now based in Los Angeles, CA, they’ve been transforming audiences with their colorful sound since 2014. Drawing inspiration from St. Vincent, Sylvan Esso, and Sofi Tukker, their music blends together elements of funk, rock, electronica, pop, and disco. Katie uses her voice like an instrumental texture, while Marty's guitar playing blends catchy funk hooks with psychedelic wonderment.
